Canvas Studio

Canvas Studio is a communication tool that allows instructors and students to actively collaborate through video and audio media. Both students and instructors can upload video from their devices (or add it from YouTube) straight to their courses.

Uses:

  1. Upload, create, edit, manage, share, and discuss audio and video files
  2. Review analytics
    • See who’s watched a video, for how long, and which parts.
    • What's interesting/boring/confusing to your students?
  3. Encourage active student engagement with your videos
    • Studio connects with platforms like Zoom, Microsoft Teams, and Google Hangouts.
  4. Your Own Media Library
    • Create, edit, deliver, host, and organize video content in all major formats.

How to Get It: (free in Canvas)

Canvas Studio is integrated with the College of the Canyons instance of Canvas. Access it from your Global Navigation, or in your course navigation, within the Rich Content Editor when editing Pages, Assignments, Announcements, or Quizzes.
