Laptop Lending Program for Students

Dear student,
We are excited to let you know that we have 600 laptops available to lend to students who need them to continue their coursework while classes meet remotely.
Because we only have a limited number available, we first emailed students on financial aid and those who had no online or hybrid courses. Since all computers were not distributed, we have opened this to all students. We do still have a limited supply. This is on a first come, first serve basis.
Once all the laptops have been distributed, we will start a waitlist for students. Once more laptops arrive on campus, we will distribute them to more students as quickly as possible.
What You Need to Do
Since we only have a limited supply of laptops, we cannot guarantee you will receive one. Those who respond soonest will have the best chance of receiving one.
This email includes a link to a form. Please complete the form to confirm you need a laptop. Once you have completed the form, we will email you a date, time and location to come pick up a laptop if we have one available for you.
What’s on the Laptop?
The laptops can connect to the Internet wirelessly, come with a version of Microsoft Office, and will be compatible with Office 365, Google apps, Canvas, Adobe, and other school-related software.

The laptops we are distributing will not support large programs such as AutoCAD.
Where Can I Pick It Up?
We will have multiple days and times for you to pick up the laptop in an outdoor area on the Valencia campus where you won’t need to enter a building. You must bring either you school or state issued identification.
When Should I Return It?
Plan to return your laptop to the College within 7 days after your class begins meeting on campus again, or Friday June 5, whichever is sooner.
Will You Have More Laptops?
We want to support you in your education and we are working to get more laptops as fast as possible. We will continue to take sign-ups and handout laptops as they become available.
