Confirmed Cases

Case and Exposure Notification

March 16, 2022

We are writing to provide notification of a COVID-19 case that led to one exposure on campus.

A student who was last at the Valencia campus March 10 had COVID-19 symptoms and received a positive result from a test taken on March 12. The student notified the district on March 14. Contact tracing showed one person was exposed. The student will isolate for the required period, and the exposed individual will monitor for symptoms or isolate as appropriate.

As mentioned in earlier cases, we understand the desire to know more about these situations. However, we must balance the concern that we all have for our co-workers and students with privacy laws. With that in mind, we are not able to provide more detail that could identify these individuals.

Self-Monitor for Symptoms

  • Fatigue
  • Chills
