What if I do not meet the Inspire Scholars program age requirements?
If you do not meet the Inspire Scholars age requirements, there are other resources available to you to support you while attending College of the Canyons.
EOPS (Extended Opportunity Programs and Services) is a state-funded student support services program. Its purpose is to provide special recruitment, retention, and transition services to eligible students. The services offered are "above and beyond" those offered by the college's Student Services division. The primary services include assistance in the following areas: priority enrollment, counseling/advisement, and preparation for transition to four-year colleges and universities.
BaNC - The Basic Needs Center is a one-stop locale providing free food, clothing, personal hygiene items, and assistance with housing and social services coordinated through community providers.
Counseling – The Counseling Department provides academic counseling to all students at College of the Canyons. If you need more specific help with selecting a major you may also choose to visit with a career counselor at The Hub located in X-6.

Yes, you can still receive services from the Inspire Scholars Program.
If I am enrolled in all online classes will I still be able to participate in Inspire Scholars?
Generally, we do not encourage students to enroll in all online classes. However, if all of your classes are online, you can still participate in Inspire Scholars. How do I know when my registration date is?
You can find your registration date and time by going to your MyCanyons account. Under the tab, “Registration” you will click on “My Registration Time” and it will show you your registration date and time.
How do I get my student identification card?
Once you enroll, you can go to Campus Life & Student Engagement office Student Center (STCN) Room 102 and request your card.
Where do I get a parking permit?
To get a parking permit you will need to pay for it from your MyCanyons account and it will be mailed to you. We recommend that you do this as soon as you enroll in classes so that you receive your parking permit before the first day of classes. As a back-up, the system will allow you print a temporary permit until the original one arrives via the U.S. postal service. On your MyCanyons account under the “Student Account” tab you will find “Purchase Parking Permit”. Click on that option and follow the instructions.
We do not recommend that you drop any classes until you speak to your Inspire Scholars counselor to determine if this is the best course of action. If you want to drop classes, you will go to your MyCanyons account and under the “Registration” tab, click on “Drop Classes”. You will need to put a checkmark in the course that you wish to drop and select, “Drop” from the drop down menu.
