ESL & Citizenship

College of the Canyons offers Continuing Education classes in both ESL (English as a Second Language) and Citizenship. There is no cost for these classes, but students must purchase a textbook and workbook for ESL classes.

The "Citizenship for Naturalization" class reviews the history and government of the United States, preparing students to take the citizenship exam.

College of the Canyons also offers 5 levels of ESL classes designed to help students improve their English communication skills as well as preparing them for further education and job opportunities. Students who complete all five levels are eligible for a Certificate of Completion.
