Credit ESL Program

The Credit ESL Program is designed for students with academic goals.  Perhaps, you wish to complete a two-year degree, do a vocational certificate at College of the Canyons or transfer to a four-year college or university.  

 

We have two courses focused on your reading, writing, and grammar.

ESL 090 Intermediate College English (5 Units)

ESL 100 Advanced College English (5 Units)

Each of these courses gives extensive practice in writing paragraphs and essays.

 

We have two courses focused on your listening and speaking skills. Each of these classes will get you ready to confidently communicate in college classes.

ESL 091 Accent Reduction (4 Units)

ESL 096 College Listening and Speaking (5 Units)
