Adjunct Professor of Communication Studies

Communication has been a life-long passion for Ally Loprete. In addition to performing multiple lead roles in musical theatre productions, she was an award-winning finalist on the Speech and Debate Team in Arizona. Ally earned her BA in Theatre and Film from the University of Kansas, then quickly found success in Hollywood, with careers at ABC Television, Disney Animation, Universal Studios, Warner Media and The Hallmark Channel.  As the Founder and Executive Director of Our Milk Money a non-profit organization, Ally used her speaking skills in digital marketing and public relations leading her to become a national public speaker and advocate for women business leaders. Her public voice landed her a national weekly radio show on iHeart America’s Talk as well as a TV reality series.  Ally became a published author in 2018, continuing to use her communication skills to speak out about mental illness and depression.  In 2019 she received her MCM at USC, with a graduate school practicum presentation speaking at the COC Women’s Conference in 2019 called “Conscious Dialogue for Women Leaders: Making an Impact on Gender and Inclusivity.” Ally still dabbles in musical theatre productions around SCV, often with her entire family of performers. She lives with her husband and their two sons in Stevenson Ranch.
