TAMMERA STOKES RICE

Stokes Rice thrived in corporate America for 11 years working with the world's largest retailer, Wal-Mart. At the company's headquarters in Bentonville, Arkansas, Stokes Rice excelled in customer relations and honed her negotiation skills while running contiguous national marketing campaigns. Determined to venture out on her own, she opened Stokes Rice Consulting in 2000. Simultaneously, she returned to school and received a Master of Arts degree from California State University, Northridge in 2002. With an extensive understanding of communication patterns and the organizational environment, Stokes Rice has been sharing her expertise with College of the Canyons since 2003.Currently, her academic interests lie in distance learning and gender studies. She resides in Los Angeles with her husband and two children.
