Aleida Gomez

I would like to introduce myself. My name is Aleida Gomez and I am an Academic Counselor for College of Canyons Non Credit ESL program. I am very happy to have the opportunity to be part of this program. I am looking forward to meeting all the ESL students and being able to contribute to your academic planning and achievement. I started my education in this country just like you as an ESL student. I continued my education at a community college where I obtained my Associates Degree in Liberal Arts and then transferred to California State University Northridge where I obtained my Bachelors Degree in Liberal Studies and my Masters degree in Career Counseling. Prior to this position, I worked as a Counselor at College of the Canyons EOPS/CARE program and at another four community colleges.
