GayMarie Dassler

My name is GayMarie Dassler. I teach ESL Level 1 at the Santa Clarita County Service Center in Newhall. I have been teaching ESL in Santa Clarita for 19 years. This is my third semester teaching for COC and I am enjoying the experience. The students are so dedicated and it is very exciting seeing their progress. Students and staff have made me feel very welcome. I received my BA from U C Irvine and teaching credential from California State University, Northridge. In addition, I have a TESOL Certificate from UC Santa Barbara. I am a fifth generation Californian. My husband and I have lived in Valencia for 22 years. My son is in college and my daughter is a student at Hart High School. In my spare time I love reading, cooking and being with my family.
