Patsy Ayala

Senior Field Representative - Assemblywoman Suzette Valladares

 

Patsy Ayala was born in Mexico City and has 21 years living Santa Clarita. She has a Bachelor’s Degree on Computer Management Systems from Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey (ITESM), certificate studies in Marketing through Wharton University and Politics through Yale University.  She has been working in the State of California Legislature serving the communities of Santa Clarita Valley, San Fernando Valley, Antelope Valley, Simi Valley and Victor Valley.

Currently she works at the California Assembly serving the 38th district as part of the government team of Assemblywoman Suzette Valladares. Patsy advocates for the cities and issues in the district and acts as a liaison with the community and State of California. Patsy acts on behalf of Assemblywoman Valladares for government affairs, legislative work and creating opportunities to serve the constituents to navigate the State of California agencies.

She worked for the State of California Senate with Senator Scott Wilk’s government team and previously during his term in the Assembly helping many organizations and constituents with the State of California. Patsy had served in many committees of the many School Districts in the cities she has been representing. Patsy was member of the board of directors of the SCV Latino Chamber of Commerce helping to the merge with the Santa Clarita Chamber of Commerce. Once the merge was done she got selected to be the Chair of the Latino Business Alliance. She has been actively involved and has been board member of many organizations like the Antelope Valley Hispanic Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors, served in the Antelope Valley High School District Employer Advisory Council, the William Hart District School District Adult Education Committee, SCV Economic Development Corporation and the EDD Antelope Veterans Employment Committee. Patsy has been a commentator at Univision, Mundo Fox, CNN Latino and the Prestigious Mandy Report. Patsy was the co-host of the radio show “Where there is a will there is way” at KHTS. In the private sector she is the founding partner of the Our Valley Group and she had experience in companies like Mobil Oil, General Electric and TV Azteca. She has been honored with many recognitions like the 2013 Woman of the Year of the State California Senate District 21st. Her passion has been constructing bridges with underserved and unrepresented communities connecting them with opportunities and guidance to create economic development and growth. She is a big advocate for education, as she believes education can transform lives and communities.
