Deanna Austin is Executive Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer for Princess Cruises worldwide, having served the company for 34 years. She leads the teams responsible for Marketing, Consumer and Trade Sales, Customer Service, Revenue Management, Fleet Deployment and Itinerary Development. This includes global responsibility of all commercial operations for Princess Cruises, encompassing 2 domestic and 12 international offices including United Kingdom, Australia, Japan, Taiwan, Korea, Hong Kong, and Singapore.

Austin manages the scale and complexity of Princess’ business globally, by directing the commercial strategy, developing new homeports and finding new customer segments in order to maximize financial returns. As the head of Commercial, Austin combines marketing, sales, customer service, revenue management and customer insights to improve revenue per guest each year. Starting with the customer, she has been an integral senior leader working to reimagine all aspects of the customer journey in the new post-COVID world resulting in significant increases in NPS.

Austin serves as a mentor, working to advance the leadership skills and development of women within the Princess organization. As well, Austin was an active supporter of the Girl Scouts of Greater Los Angeles for 15 years. She supported numerous troop activities and speaking engagements at Girl Scout events, and volunteered to benefit various non-profit organizations across the community.

Austin holds a Master of Business Administration from California State University, Northridge, and a Bachelor of Arts in Marketing with a minor in French from the University of Utah. She resides in Los Angeles, California with her husband and three children.
