Gabriela Linares
Adjunct Instructor of Spanish, El Salvador
Gabriela Linares was born and raised in Santa Ana, El Salvador until the age of fourteen. She holds a Masters Degree in Spanish with an emphasis in Latin American literature from California State University, Northridge. She also obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Spanish Literature from California State University, Northridge. Her undergraduate work is in the area of Spanish as well at College of The Canyons. As a first generation student she developed a strong passion for the Spanish language. During her time at COC she was involved in the Spanish club and the Honor Society. Gabriela has been the Spanish tutor at The Learning Center (TLC) for the past five years. Gabriela looks forward to introducing students not only to the language but to the culture as well.
