Health and Welfare Committee

Description:
A cross-functional team of representatives from the various employee groups on campus. Appointments to this committee is made by each bargaining unit, the confidential employees group, and the management team. The District-wide Health and Welfare Benefits Committee will review the District's existing benefit programs, gather information about new plan options, evaluate information on various types of group insurance plans, and other fringe benefit programs, in an effort to inform representatives of employee groups making their benefit proposals and decisions. Meets in Spring, usually several meetings based on participant availability.
