Greg Kincaid

Greg Kincaid, owner of Sage Staffing, is a graduate of College of the Canyons, and an avid sports and football enthusiast. He has made significant contributions through the support he and his wife have given to the college and other charitable organizations in the community. Greg volunteered to sit on the Football Feasibility Committee in 1996 and 1997. He served as the athletic expansion chair of the COC Foundation Board of Directors in 1997 and 1998. As chair, he coordinated the athletic expansion campaign, which raised over $250,000 in nine months to help reinstate football after a 17-year hiatus. The campaign also added women's soccer to the program at COC.

"I wanted to see everyone who wanted to play intercollegiate sports at the community college level have that opportunity. Football was my incentive to go on to college. It was an uncertain time for me. COC and the football experience had a tremendous influence on my life," Greg says.

As a student at COC, Greg played on the football team and he attributes his time at COC as having a positive influence on his life. The time he spent in Santa Clarita as a student contributed to his decision to stay in the community, do business and raise his family here. He has lived in the community since 1971, is married to Laura Kincaid, his partner, and they have two sons. Greg believes that it is important to give back to the community that gave him his start and he is a fine example of someone who does just that.
