Vicki Engbrecht

Vicki Engbrecht is currently the Superintendent for the William S. Hart Union High School District. A Longtime Santa Clarita Valley resident, Vicki started her career in the district as an English teacher at Sierra Vista Junior High School. During her time there, she was recognized as a Hart District Teacher of the Year and Los Angeles County Teacher of the Year. In 1991, Vicki moved into her first administrative position as Dean of Students at Canyon High School. She was promoted to Assistant Principal two years later, and was named Principal of Canyon High School in 1997. Prior to becoming Superintendent, Vicki served as Assistant Superintendent, Director of Curriculum and Assessment. In addition to her educational duties, Vicki was an executive Board Member of the Santa Clarita School and Business Alliance, and sits on the Child and Family Client Services Board. Vicki has been integral in enhancing the partnership between College of the Canyons and the William S. Hart High School District. Sheenjoys volunteering for a variety of organizations in the community.
