Al Adelini

Al Adelini, retired faculty member, administrator, and counselor has contributed to the growth, development, character and values of College of the Canyons. He has earned the respect, appreciation and affection of his colleagues and students during his more than 30-year career. He has provided wise counsel to a long line of administrators who proved to be successful when they heeded his advice. He has indelibly changed the lives of countless students by providing insight, direction, and caring. He embraced the leadership role as the first Director of the COC Alumni Association. Al acted in a number of key roles in COCs early years. He has been an advocate for COC and the Community College system for many years. He has assumed the role as mentor to many students and staff over the years. Al and his wife Lorna enjoy traveling and spending time with their children and grandchildren in their retirement. Al was also inducted in the College of the Canyons Athletic Hall of Fame in 2009 for his outstanding contributions to athletics during his tenure at COC.
