Scott Evans

Scott Evans graduated from William S. Hart High School in 1975. After graduation from Hart, he enrolled at College of the Canyons and played football. He completed his general education and transferred to Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. After Scott left Cal Poly, he went to work for the family construction business, Evans and Son Inc. He achieved a great deal of success working alongside his father for nearly 20 years. In 1996, following William Evans Sr.s retirement, Scott took over as President of Evans and Son Inc. He has carried on the tradition of excellence, and Evans and Son Inc. is one of the most respectable commercial contractors in Southern California. Scott is married to Julia Evans (Quinn) and they have three children. Scott has devoted countless volunteer hours to William S. Hart little league, William S. Hart High School, and served as a member of the Boys and Girls Club Board of Directors. Scott has given financial support to College of the Canyons over the years and has always responded to any requests for help. Scott supplied much-needed support to the athletic department during the expansion by providing construction services, equipment, staffing and materials to complete the necessary renovations to the PE Building to accommodate the addition of the football and soccer programs. Scott has also supported a number of student programs and has recently established a scholarship to benefit College of the Canyons students. His friendship, service, time and energy are appreciated by the entire College community.
