HelpDesk Console (OTP)
Step 1. Go to the HelpDesk Console site.
(https://portalguard.canyons.edu/PG_HelpDesk/HelpDesk.aspx)
Step 2. Login using your CanyonsID
Username: staff\lastname_first initial (e.g. staff\doe_j)
Password: <this is the same as your email password>
Step 3. Click Modify User Account(s)
Step 4. Search for a user based on their last name or email address.
Note: 2+ characters are needed before the system will present results.
Clicking on the user selects them, then click "Next"
Repeat the search and select step to add multiple users to the "Selected User(s)"
box
Step 5. Select one of the actions, then click "Next"
A user's account may need to be unlocked first before an OTP can be generated. After unlocking the user's account, repeat steps 4 and 5, this time select "Create One Time Passcode"
Step 6. Select "Execute"
Step 7. The OTP has been generated.
The user's OTP will be the red numbers.
